Published Voices from the Common Room
These publisher-written notes recognise books already published by The Good Earth Publishers. Any first-person author testimonial should be added only after the author has approved the wording.
The Knock reflects the value of careful editorial dialogue, patient revision and respect for the author’s individual voice. The publication represents the collaborative work required to carry a manuscript from draft to finished book.
We were pleased to support the development and publication of The Knock and to bring the work to readers with the care expected of every TGEP title.
Bagel Boy in Ashgabat brought together humour, imagination and a distinctive young-reader voice. Its development required close attention to pace, clarity and the apparent simplicity that good children’s writing demands.
Children’s literature deserves rigorous editorial care. We were delighted to publish this lively and imaginative beginning to the Bagel Boy series.
Bagel Boy for President extended the humour and personality of the first book while allowing the central character and his world to grow. The sequel demonstrates how a series can remain familiar while still offering readers a fresh adventure.
Publishing a sequel requires continuity without repetition. We were glad to continue the journey and develop the next stage of the Bagel Boy series.
