The story begins in Ajmer, where education and achievement seemed to offer a secure future. The IIT result Nikhil wanted did not come. BITS Pilani opened another road, followed by years in financial markets and investment banking.
Success brought responsibility and financial security, but it did not settle every question. Alongside work were marriage, fatherhood and loss. After leaving corporate life, Nikhil had to face a question no promotion could answer: how should he live when his job no longer defined him?

Nikhil Maheshwari
Born and raised in Ajmer, Nikhil studied Mechanical Engineering at BITS Pilani. He worked for more than fifteen years in financial markets and investment banking and served as a Director at UBS Investment Bank. The Race Never Ends is his debut memoir.
