Not every important life becomes famous. Some simply deserve not to be forgotten.
We are looking for lives with a story behind the achievement: what was built, what was endured, what changed, and what was learned.
A résumé records what happened. A life story records what it meant.
Behind every visible achievement is another story: the uncertain beginning, the years of effort, the wrong turns, the difficult decisions, the people who mattered, the failures, the persistence and the moments that changed everything.
Those are the stories The Good Earth Publishers wants to find.
They may belong to an educationist, doctor, scientist, entrepreneur, public servant, professional, artist, institution-builder or someone whose influence has never made headlines but has mattered deeply to others.

The story behind the public record.
What was built
A career, institution, business, body of work, profession, community or something lasting.
What was endured
Setbacks, doubt, loss, rejection, uncertainty or circumstances few people ever saw.
What changed
The decision, failure, relationship or turning point that altered the course of a life.
What was learned
The understanding that came only after years of work, responsibility, success or experience.
Some of the most valuable stories belong to people who never thought of themselves as authors.
How It Begins
Some stories come to us. Others we go looking for.
We may approach you first.
The Good Earth Publishers identifies people whose lives or work may contain a book worth exploring and approaches them privately.
You do not need a manuscript. You do not need a title. You do not even need to know where the story begins.
The first step is simply a conversation.
You may already know such a person.
Perhaps it is a teacher, doctor, founder, scientist, public servant, professional, parent, mentor or institution-builder.
Tell us who they are, what they built, endured, changed or achieved, and why their story may matter beyond their immediate circle.
We will consider the recommendation editorially and confidentially.
Why It Matters
A generation remembers itself badly if it records only famous people.
History is also carried by people who built schools, practices, companies, laboratories, departments, institutions, families and communities.
Much of what they learned over a lifetime is never written down.
Sometimes the people least inclined to tell their own story are precisely the people whose stories are most worth finding.
