Bridport Prize Memoir Award 2026
The Memoir Award closes 30 September. It is for nonfiction centred on the entrant's own life; fictional memoirs and memoirs about another person are not eligible.

Applications for the Summer 2027 internship programme run from 28 September to 2 October 2026. The paid programme is remote within the United States and covers editorial, rights, production, marketing, publicity and other departments.

The current international round closes 4 October 2026. Entries are limited to 300 words; the first prize is £1,000 and 50 longlisted writers are offered anthology publication.

A free competition for UK residents aged 18 or over. Submit one unpublished poem on mental health or wellbeing, no more than 25 lines. Generative AI may not be used to write or rewrite the poem.

Open worldwide to writers aged 18 or over. The competition judges the opening 500 words of an unpublished adult or YA novel or novella.
