In its report on the 30 September Cabinet briefing, Akashvani News said an Intelligent Traffic Management System project for Delhi Police had been approved at an estimated cost exceeding ₹1,789 crore, including taxes.

The report describes coverage of 42 identified corridors, three implementation phases over 24 months and five years of operation and maintenance. Approval is an announcement of the project, rather than confirmation that the system is already operational.
